Autonomous Light Brigade's premier showing in East Texas included a walking display along one of the busier thoroughfares in the town of Nacogdoches.
Involving 25 brigadiers, two of whom were participating in wheel chairs, the Brigade traveled almost a half-mile, stopping at the entrance to Stephen F. Austin State University. There the traffic passing by were treated to a message reminding people of the importance of their community contrasted to the threat of tar sands exploitation.
An enjoyable time was had by all.
TAR SANDS, NO SAFE COMMUNITIES, YES.
